Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Bryonna “Bry” Burrows have officially announced their engagement.

The couple had fueled engagement rumors earlier when a fan shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) showing Bry Burrows supporting Jalen at a Philadelphia Eagles game while wearing a diamond ring. The post was captioned, “Our good sis Bry Burrows got her ring! Congrats to her and Jalen Hurts!” On Friday, September 13, they officially confirmed their engagement to Essence.

Hurts popped the question during the NFL offseason while the couple enjoyed a tropical getaway. To make the moment extra special, he arranged roses, candles, and a violinist to set the romantic scene. Obviously the photos above show the couple smiling in coordinating white outfits, gazing off into the sunset on the beach.

The two met in college where they both attended the University of Alabama. While they have had an on-and-off relationship for several years, they didn’t go public until January 2023. This was after the Eagles won the NFC championship, and the two were spotted together on the field after the game.

Jalen had this to say about his feelings towards the relationship, “I knew a long time ago, I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”

Now, there’s only one more ring to obtain now for Jalen and the great fans of Philadelphia. That journey continues this Monday night in the home opener where Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons will be coming to town on primetime.
