THE Dallas Cowboys have been linked with a wide receiver who would give much-needed help to quarterback Dak Prescott.
The Cowboys could use support at the wide receiver room after not addressing the position in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Dallas’s wideout room is, of course, led by star CeeDee Lamb, who has posted four straight 1,000-yard seasons.
But the franchise needs a No. 2 WR behind Lamb after losing Brandin Cooks in the offseason.
So on Sunday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported on SportsCenter that the Cowboys and free agent wide receiver Amari Cooper have “some mutual interest” in a reunion.
The latest report comes after a recent development in which Nick Harris of the Star-Telegram shared that there’s “building team interest” from the Cowboys to reunite with Cooper.
The 30-year-old Cooper played with the Cowboys for four seasons from 2018 to 2021.
Cooper earned two Pro Bowl nods during his Cowboys tenure.
He posted 292 receptions for 3,893 yards and 27 touchdowns.
His best season came in 2020 when he recorded 90 catches for 1,114 yards and five touchdowns.
The Cowboys then traded Cooper to the Cleveland Browns as he played there for three years before being traded to the Buffalo Bills mid-season in 2024.
However, Cooper’s coming off a career-worst season.
He tallied a career-low 44 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns with the Browns and Bills in 14 games.
Cooper, who has earned $136 million in his 10-year NFL career, remains unsigned and the Cowboys could be a fit for the veteran.
Dallas has a need at the wideout spot as the team’s unit is thin after Lamb.
It was reported by ESPN’s Todd Archer that the Cowboys had discussed with an AFC North team about trading for a wide receiver, but the conversations ended as last month’s NFL Draft began.

The Cowboys could look to add other veteran free agency which include Keenan Allen and Nelson Agholor.
They didn’t add a wide receiver, but they did pick up a potential offensive lineman starter in Tyler Booker – the team’s No. 12 overall pick.
Dallas also made eight other selections, including Texas standout fifth-round pick running back Jaydon Blue.
The Cowboys, led by new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, will hope to bounce back after a disappointing 7-10 campaign.
