Travis Kelce gave a cheeky nod to a steamy lyric from one of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s songs on her most recent album.
The Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, recalled watching the 1999 classic American Pie in the most recent episode of his New Heights podcast.
Coincidentally, the movie is also mentioned in the 35-year-old singer’s track So High School, which is believed to be about the athlete.
During the episode, Travis asked his brother and co-host Jason Kelce, 37, to recall the first R-rated movie he saw.
‘The one I remember watching that I didn’t even realize was rated R was American Pie, and that was when we were, like, 10,’ Travis then recalled.
‘I feel like I had to have watched a couple before that.’
Jason immediately jumped in saying that their parents didn’t show them rated R movies often.
‘That wasn’t with dad,’ he said, to which Travis replied, ‘That wasn’t with mom either. I was just f**king going to the movies.’

Jason was shocked his was allowed in the theater to see a rated R movie given his age.
‘I forget how I got in. I might have been there with someone else’s parents. I don’t know. Mom might have let me go,’ the sports star told his brother.
Jason said his mom enjoyed rated R comedies, but their dad didn’t let them start watching rated-R action movies until later.
Though he didn’t mention his girlfriend’s song, many Swifties caught the subtle nod and took to X to discuss the connection between the movie and her song.
One fan tweeted the clip and quoted lyrics from the song: ‘I’m watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night.’
Her song So High School is from her April 2024 hit album Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.
Many fans believe the track is about Travis thanks to the line, ‘You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.’
The star-studded couple has been dating since the summer of 2023.

The 14-Grammy award winner also asks the man she’s singing about if he is going to ‘marry, kiss, or kill’ her in the song.
Fans speculate this is another nod to her Super Bowl-winning man due to a viral video from 2016.
In the video, Travis played ‘Kiss, Marry, Kill’ with three singers, including his current girlfriend.
At the time, he chose to kiss Taylor, marry Katy Perry, and kill Ariana Grande.
In 2024, Travis was questioned about his favorite ‘Era’ of Taylor’s while at his music festival, Kelce Jam, in Kansas City, Missouri.
‘Oh I’m a big 1989 era [fan],’ he told Access Hollywood.
‘But I’m not gonna lie, I might be a little biased toward The Tortured Poets Department, just a little bit.’
He was then asked about which song he would want Taylor to perform if she ever hypothetically showed up to Kelce Jam.
The athlete replied: ‘So High School might be the only one that’s just jumping into my mind right now, I think everybody would get fired up for that one.’
An insider told DailyMail.com that Travis had a few other favorites when the album first came out.
‘He has a few favorites – Down Bad and loml – but he also loves everything he has heard. Why wouldn’t he?,’ they exclusively said.
